The Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan stated that the demarcation process in Tavush will bring more stability. However, he expressed the opinion that for complete stability, it is necessary to have a peace agreement with Azerbaijan. "We need peace to be completely sure that there will be no escalation. this is the main guarantee," he said.
According to the Secretary of the Security Council, Armenia is trying to have a peace treaty as soon as possible.
He also referred to the further works of demarcation, stressing that there is still no agreement on where it will continue.
