Through the Civil Protection Mechanism and the Government of Spain, the EU has dispatched 3 experts who will help the RA Government assess the damage to the infrastructure caused by the recent floods in Lori and Tavush.
A team of experts met with local authorities to better understand the government's needs and priorities. Assessment works for damaged structures in Tashir and Alaverdi have already started. The team focused on the infrastructure (small bridges) that provided farmland access and looked at houses.
