On June 18, the Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, received the delegation led by the Minister of Economy and Industry of Malta, Silvio Schembri.
The Ministry of Economy informed us that Deputy Ministers Arman Khojoyan and Narek Hovakimyan were also present at the meeting.
"This meeting is a good opportunity to discuss mutual interests, exchange ideas on the expansion of trade and investment, and explore potential partnerships in various sectors of the economy," the minister noted.
The parties discussed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in several key areas, particularly high technologies, digitization, agriculture, trade, and tourism.
Regarding the Government's peace agenda, Gevorg Papoyan presented the possible economic advantages and importance of the "Crossroads of Peace" project in establishing stable and lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
