On May 30, at 23:27 local time (at 19:27 GMT), the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia registered an earthquake with the geographical coordinates of 40.07° north latitude and 44.58° east longitude in Armenia, 14 km southeast of the city of Yerevan. The quake had a magnitude of 3.3 and a depth of 10 km.
The strength of the underground shock in the epicenter zone was 4-5 points. The earthquake was felt in the city of Yerevan with a magnitude of 4, in the Kotayk region with a magnitude of 3-4, and in the Ararat region with a magnitude of 3.
