Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan wrote on his social network pages that these days, the city is hosting the annual conference of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
"It is an event of particular importance for the capital, during which a high-level dialogue is held on current topics and decisions are made on strategic issues of the bank's development.
Negotiations between us and the EBRD, which started in 2019, resulted in the decision to host the EBRD annual meeting at the highest level in Yerevan. Yerevan is an important and reliable partner for the Bank, which also guarantees the implementation of new projects and the expansion of cooperation," the mayor wrote.
