USAID Armenia Mission Director John Allelo and USAID Chief Financial Officer Reginald Mitchell met with Atom Janjughazyan, President of the Audit Chamber, to discuss the reforms initiated by the Audit Chamber. USAID supports these efforts by funding the Technical Assistance to the RA Audit Chamber program.
As USAID/Armenia Director Alelo noted, the US government is confident that a stable and independent Chamber of Accounts can strengthen citizens' trust in state institutions and ensure efficient use of public resources to benefit Armenian citizens.
USAID is committed to supporting Armenia's institutions and aims to improve their effectiveness in the public interest.
