The RA government agreed to sign a new loan agreement with the EBRD. The EBRD will contribute 236 million euros to the construction of a new road section of about 60 km in Sisian-Qajaran, the fourth section of the North-South road corridor.
According to TKE Minister Gnel Sanosyan, the Sisan-Qajaran road was divided into three subsections:
A 27.12 km northern subsection,
An8.65 km Bargushat tunnel subsection, an
A5 km southern subsection. "This
The project concerns the southern section of 24.2 km," he said, adding that the existing 118 km road will be shortened to 60 km.
