The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the reason for the closure of the Baghanis-Voskepar highway

In response to the information spread on social networks and mass media, we inform you that the Baghanis-Voskepar highway was closed in order to ensure the demining works carried out in the adjacent area and to prevent citizens from entering the nearby regions to ensure the latter's safety.
In the Baghanis-Voskepar section, it is planned to carry out works related to demarcation today.
We also inform you that the news that any part of the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia will be handed over to Azerbaijan is not true.
We emphasize that no change in the Armenia-Azerbaijan contact line is planned today.
After the demarcation of the border, the protection of the border will be handed over to the RA border guard troops.
