The information about the accumulation of troops is false. The Ministry of Defence
The RA Ministry of Defense reported that the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan continues to spread misinformation, stating that the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia are actively moving and accumulating personnel, armored vehicles, artillery, and other fire resources in different directions of the border zone.
"The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has also published video-edited footage of the engineering, fortification, and, in general, construction works of defense nature and significance infrastructures carried out in the last months in the rear areas of the protection of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, thus trying to present them as active works and accumulations that took place in the last few days, at the forefront.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia informs that the implementation of engineering works in the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia is the sovereign right of the Republic of Armenia. They are exclusively defensive and aim to protect the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.
As we mentioned, the RA Ministry of Defense considers the operational situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border to be stable and does not see the need to take additional measures to protect it. Therefore, the information about the accumulation of troops does not correspond to reality," the message says.
