The Minister of Economy received the head of the Armenian office of the World Bank

On March 21, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan received the delegation led by Karolin Geginat, head of the Armenian office of the World Bank. Deputy Minister Rafael Gevorgyan was also present at the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss several issues related to technical assistance for modernizing the legislation on joint Stock Companies and the State Register of Legal Entities.
The delegation members presented to Gevorg Papoyan the main findings made within the framework of the current legislation on joint-stock companies and the assessment of the status of the business register, as well as the approaches and fundamental principles for reforming the relevant legislation and modernizing and digitizing the business register.
