Strong ties between the Armenian and French communities were highlighted

RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Vache Terteryan met with the delegation led by the President of the "Association of Heads of Rural Communities of France" (AMRF) Bruno Betno.

Welcoming the guests, Vache Terteryan spoke about the good, friendly relations between Armenians and French and the strong ties between the Armenian and French communities. He noted that this meeting will further strengthen those relations and ties.

The President of the Association of French Rural Communities presented their experience in France related to the practical cooperation of communities, spoke about the primary problems existing in the communities, and the work being done in the direction of their solutions.

In his speech, Bruno Bento referred to the importance of the community-educational institution connection and the work being carried out in the fields of road construction and renewable energy, which are considered priorities in the communities.

The French side also detailed the cheese-making school to be established in the Tavush region soon. Welcoming the French initiative, the deputy minister once again highlighted the importance of the exchange of experience between the communities of the two countries and noted its continuity.

At the end of the meeting, the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure and the "Association of French Rural Community Leaders" signed a protocol of intentions to develop long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation in agriculture, education, tourism, social security, community infrastructure, humanitarian, and other fields.
