According to the forecasts of the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a geomagnetic storm of category G2 is expected on March 20-22, informs the "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" NOAC.
Magnetic storms are divided into five categories: G1 "weak," G2 "moderate," G3 "strong," G4 "very strong," and G5 "extremely strong"
