On March 15, the RA Minister of Internal Affairs, Vahe Ghazaryan, received France's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia, Olivier Decotigny. Appreciating the unique, friendly relations between Armenia and France, the Minister of Internal Affairs emphasized the willingness to strengthen and develop them in law enforcement.
Vahe Ghazaryan noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been in a large-scale reform phase since its establishment and thanked the European Union and France for supporting the process.
Thanking the French Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, Olivier Decotigny, for his warm welcome, he expressed his willingness to continue close cooperation.
At the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to visa facilitation, ongoing reforms in the field of migration and citizenship, and assistance to the rescue service and the police.
The director of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kamo Tsutsulyan, head of the Migration and Citizenship Service Armen Ghazaryan, and heads of the Ministry's divisions were present at the meeting.
