Adhering to its adopted open and accountable policy, "Telecom Armenia" JSC (trademark: Team Telecom Armenia) presents the technical, economic, and financial indicators of mobile and fixed communication for the 4th quarter of 2023. The company recorded significant growth in the principal directions.
Mobile connection
In the fourth quarter of 2023, the company received 5.18 billion drams of revenue from mobile communication. Compared to the fourth quarter of 2022, the volume of revenues increased by 1%, and compared to the third quarter of 2023, an increase of 3.4%, or 168.4 million drams, was recorded. As for the annual indicators, in 2023, the revenues from mobile communication increased by 1.6% compared to 2022 and amounted to 19.4 billion drams.
Revenues from the sale of smartphones and accessories amounted to 1.1 billion drams. Compared to the 4th quarter of 2022, an increase of 19.9% was recorded, and compared to the 3rd quarter of 2023, the increase was 69.2%.
The number of mobile subscribers in the 4th quarter of 2023 was 1,044,939. Compared to the 4th quarter of 2022, an increase of 9% or 86,646 subscribers, was recorded, and compared to the 3rd quarter of 2023, the number of subscribers increased by 4.2% or 42,376 subscribers.
In particular, the number of subscribers using mobile Internet via telephone has increased significantly: 660,731. Compared to the 4th quarter of 2022, an increase of 11.5% was recorded, and compared to the 3rd quarter of 2023, the increase was 5.9%.
According to data from 2023, the company has 25.6% of the subscribers in the RA mobile communication market.
Fixed connection
In the fourth quarter of 2023, Telecom Armenia received 3.8 billion drams in income from fixed connections. Compared to the fourth quarter of 2022, the revenue volume in the fourth quarter of 2023 increased by 5%, and in 2023, 14.62 billion drams of revenue were received from fixed connections.
The number of connected Internet subscribers as of the 4th quarter of 2023 is 94.8 thousand, an increase of 2% compared to the 4th quarter of 2022.
As a result of 2023, "Telecom Armenia" will have 32.1% of the subscribers of the fixed Internet market, as well as 23.1% of the market revenues received from fixed Internet services.

In parallel with this, last year, the company implemented another perspective project: it became an open joint-stock company. Now, the company's shares are listed on the Armenian Stock Exchange and are in free circulation.
