After the welcoming ceremony at the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support of the Republic of Iran, the meeting of the RA Minister of Defense, Suren Papikyan, and the Minister of Defense and Support of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Iran, Brigadier General Dr. Mohammad Reza Gharai Ashtiani, took place.
The ministers discussed the current course of cooperation in defense and development prospects. They also exchanged ideas on international and regional issues and reaffirmed their positions on establishing long-term peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
During the meeting, several agreements were reached on issues of mutual interest.
