On March 6, during his official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan was welcomed solemnly at the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support of Iran. A military band and an honor guard participated in the ceremony.
The national anthems of both countries were played. Before the start of the welcoming ceremony, Suren Papikyan laid a wreath and paid tribute to the monument of Iranian soldiers martyred in the war.
