Chairman of the National Defense and Security Committee Andranik Kocharyan referred to the infiltration of the Azerbaijani serviceman in the Tegh village of Syunik. According to him, one person crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line. "What kind of article is it? The investigative committee will soon make a statement," said Kocharyan.
According to him, many sections in the range of defense lines can be crossed. "But it is important that after crossing, our respective structures noticed and neutralized him. Now, it is tough to pass our characteristics unnoticed. Every time we increase these features' capabilities, we will leave almost no chance for such penetrations to become a reality," he said.
Earlier, the NSS reported that on February 28, at around 05:15, a soldier of the Azerbaijani armed forces, who was armed with an AKM-type assault rifle and one safe, crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line in the border area of the Tegh community of the Syunik region. The soldiers of the Ministry of Defense neutralized him.
