Issues related to importing agrochemicals and pesticides from India to Armenia were discussed

RA Deputy Economy Minister Ashkhen Shirvanyan received the Indian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, Nilakshi Saha Sinha, on February 21. Representatives of the Food Safety Inspection Body were also present at the meeting.

Welcoming the guests, Ashkhen Shirvanyan referred to ways of strengthening trade and economic relations between the two countries, particularly in agriculture.

During the meeting, several issues were discussed regarding importing agrochemicals and pesticides produced in India to Armenia and settling problems arising during registration.

The steps taken in the direction of further cooperation between Armenia and India, the existing potential, and the continuous dialogue and partnership in various directions were highlighted by both sides.
