The RA Embassy in Georgia reported that on February 19, Hovhannes Tumanyan's 155th birthday, Tbilisi celebrated the great poet's birthday and the traditional book dedication day.
The festive events started at the Khojivank pantheon of Armenian writers and public figures in Tbilisi, where a memorial service was held. On the same day, the opening of the exhibition titled "Tbilisi Footprints of Tumanyan" and the presentation of poetess Ruzan Hovasapyan's book "Resurrection" were held at the Hovhannes Tumanyan House Scientific and Cultural Center in Tbilisi, which was followed by the ceremony of donating books to each other.
