On February 2, RA Minister of Internal Affairs Vahe Ghazaryan and Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia Vassilis Maragos visited the construction site of the administrative complex of the Patrol Service and Operational Management Center. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan, General Secretary of Internal Affairs Ara Fidanyan, and heads of Ministry and Police units were also present.
Vahe Ghazaryan and Vassilis Maragos were presented with a model of the administrative complexes of the divisions, according to which separate administrative buildings are intended for the Patrol Service, the Operational Management Center, and the Yerevan Regiment of the Patrol Service. The buildings will have all the facilities and necessary technical support to provide high-quality services to the citizens.
The attendees toured the area, visited the administrative buildings, and got acquainted with the construction works of the gym, shooting range, parking lot for official vehicles, and swimming pool.
During the visit, the head of the delegation of the European Union to Armenia, Vassilis Maragos, highly appreciated the work carried out within the framework of the reforms, which will contribute to providing high-quality services to the citizens. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary highlighted the ongoing construction works and the designed building solutions, which will guarantee the efficiency of the work, which in turn will improve the work of both the Operational Management Center and the patrol service. Vasilis Maragos also expressed his readiness to continue supporting the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Thanking international partners for their support, Minister of Internal Affairs Vahe Ghazaryan highlighted the importance of cooperation, which contributes to the successful course of the reforms adopted by the ministry and achieving the desired result. During the visit, the Minister of Internal Affairs gave specific instructions and recommendations regarding the construction work.
