At the 23rd annual conference of the Union of Advanced Technologies Enterprises, Alexander Yesayan, co-founder of Team, was re-elected as the President of the Union.
The community, bringing together the information, digital, and technological sectors, adopted the strategy of the Union for the next three years, discussed several key issues, and clarified the existing priorities in the industry.
Speaking about the upcoming programs, Alexander Yesayan mentioned that, as of 2019, ITSM has once again received the exclusive right to host the World Congress of Information Technologies in Armenia, WCIT, which will be in parallel with Digitec Expo. "The Union team is excited to implement positive changes, and the community is even more active in achieving the goals set by the Union. It is essential for us that the ATZM community grows. Thirty-two new members joined us this year, and 132 companies are already included in the union. A significant increase of almost 30 percent is a testament to the strength and vitality of the community. Today, we will decide in which direction the Union will move in the coming years and our priorities to develop our technological community. As a result, our country," said Alexander Yesayan.
At the conference, Sargis Karapetyan was appointed Union Council (Board) director. He presented the previous year's results and the ITF's strategic and operational report. He reported that the ITF team is actively working with all stakeholders, including unions and the government, on the draft of the new law regulating the BTA sector.
Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan, Minister of BTA Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, and Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan attended the conference.
Artavazd Minasyan (Krisp), Armen Kocharyan (VOLO), Irina Dumanyan (Siemens Industry), Gevorg Safaryan (LimeTech), Arman Atoyan (iX-Tech), and Khachatur Nazaryan (VMWare) were elected as members of the Board (Board) of the ITSM with the majority of votes. Sona Mamyan (Mamble), Arsen Baghdasaryan (DataArt.AM), Manuk Hergnyan (Granatus Ventures), and Gor Vardanyan (FimeTech). Davit Grigoryan (Devsoft. AM), Ashot Alikhanyan (Anania Shirakatsy Lyceum), and Artak Chopuryan (Instigate Mobile I Zealous) were elected auditors of the board (management).
