At the invitation of RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan, the delegation led by the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, Marketa Pekarova Adamova, arrived in Armenia on an official visit. The guests were welcomed at "Zvartnots" airport by Ruben Rubinyan, RA NA Deputy Speaker.
Czech parliamentarians, accompanied by RA NA Vice President and head of NA Armenia-Czech Friendship Group Artur Hovhannisyan, visited the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex. The guests laid wreaths and bowed flowers near the immortal fire that perpetuates the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide to honor the memory of the Holy Martyrs.
The delegation members visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and got acquainted with the exhibits and documents certifying the genocide. Marketa Pekarova Adamova made a note in the memorial book of honored guests.
