20 policemen will be trained in Italy

RA Police Chief-Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Aram Hovhannisyan had a meeting with the head of the Italian State Police, Vittorio Pisani. The parties emphasized cooperation in several directions within the framework of the agreement on cooperation in the fight against crime, signed in 2010.

The head of the State Police emphasized the ongoing reforms of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and expressed his readiness to support the continuous processes. An agreement has been reached to train 20 police officers in the Republic of Italy in 2024 who will develop their abilities in combating drug trafficking and maintaining public order during mass events.
