The World Bank will continue to support the Ministry of Internal Affairs

RA Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan received the delegation of the World Bank headed by Khuram Farooq.

Arpine Sargsyan welcomed the guests and thanked them for their effective interaction within the 4th State Sector Modernization Credit Program (PSMP-4) framework. Within the framework of the mentioned program, he expressly referred to the planned joint activities, which also include the direction of the development of the capabilities of the operational management center, which will result in the digitization of daily functions in criminal and community police.

The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs also emphasized providing the necessary material and technical equipment for community police officers, including the availability of cameras attached to uniforms, thanks to which operation will ensure the transparent and accountable working style of community police officers.

Thanking the guests for the warm reception, they spoke about the projects they had already implemented and planned as a result of the cooperation. Questions about the plans for the material reserves management platform and creating a unified operational management center were also discussed.

During the exchange of ideas, the formation of a single operational management center to provide services to the citizens was emphasized. As a result, a high-quality service will be provided, and the possibility of an operative response will be significantly increased.

At the meeting, representatives of the World Bank expressed readiness to continue supporting the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The road map of further directions of cooperation was also discussed.
