With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, Armenian artists participated in the Larnaca international biennial entitled "HOME/HOPE."
Larnaka Biennale curator Eva Kraft selected the following Armenian artists: Alexey Manukyan (Armenia), Shushanik Droshakiryan (Armenia), Armen Ter-Mkrtchyan (Armenia), Harut Hovsepyan-HovHar (Armenia), Benji Boyajyan (Israel), Hera Buyuktachyan (Turkey), Gohar Martirosyan (France), and Rossana Palazyan (Brazil). One hundred fifty artists participated in the Biennale, and 50 events were held.
The project was implemented within the Cyprus Art and Culture Exchange Program framework. The works of artists participating in the Biennale were presented in Larnaca and various places in Cyprus, attracting the interest of both the local population and the international community.
Armenian artists presented at the Biennale with a joint pavilion. More than 7,000 people visited the Armenian pavilion.
The project included exhibitions, master classes, lectures, concerts, shows, and theater performances.
The Armenian Pavilion team has created a website featuring every artist in the HOME/HOPE exhibition. The picture book of the exhibition, which includes the works of all artists, has been published.
Within the framework of the theme of the Larnaca Biennale, the Armenian delegates organized the "BioSculpt" exhibition, the primary purpose of which was to show how artists and nature can be co-authors of beautiful creations.
