Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received the delegation headed by Philippe Leclerc, director of the Regional Bureau for European Affairs of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
Welcoming the guests, Deputy Prime Minister Khachatryan presented in detail the works being carried out to address the primary needs of more than 100,000 Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, emphasizing the importance of cooperation with partner structures within the framework of the response toolkit.
In this context, Philippe Leclerc reaffirmed the readiness of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to support the organization of the humanitarian response with various specialized structures and development partners to ensure the effective interaction of the Government.
The interlocutors emphasized the importance of mid-term and long-term programs to ensure stable living conditions for forcibly displaced persons and address primary needs.
