"The CE is considered one of the important partners of Armenia." TAI Deputy Minister

RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Vache Terteryan met with the delegation headed by Leila Kayajic, Special Representative of the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers on Migration and Refugees. The deputy minister welcomed the delegation and noted the importance of the meeting, taking into account the latest developments related to our forcibly displaced compatriots.

Terteryan emphasized that the CE is considered one of the essential partners of Armenia and spoke about the decentralization of several programs made with cooperation in local democracy, mainly administrative-territorial reforms implemented with the support of the CE.

The particular representative of the CE Secretary General thanked me for the reception and inquired about the needs and problems of our forcibly displaced compatriots and the support programs provided by the RA government.

Vache Terteryan presented the situation to the guests in detail, talked about the practical cooperation of the government, governors' staffs, and communities, and detailed the short-term and medium-term programs implemented by the government and the possibilities of implementing long-term programs.

The deputy minister also presented examples of cooperation with various international organizations. At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to discuss the details of possible support programs provided by the CE during the next meeting.
