HRD has published a report on the results of fact-finding work at the places of registration of forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh

Human rights defender Anahit Manasyan published an extraordinary preliminary report in English regarding the results of the fact-finding work carried out by her and her staff at the registration sites of forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh and the analysis of individual conversations with displaced persons.

In the report, the Defender summarized and analyzed the information obtained during the fact-finding activities regarding the crimes and atrocities committed by the Azerbaijani armed forces and documented the evidence of forcibly displaced persons, targeted ambulances, and violations of children's and women's rights. The cases of targeting civilians and vital infrastructure and property damage caused to individuals were also presented.

The report, among others, is another summary of evidence and analysis that confirms the policy of ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh, which is also the result of a systematic approach to Armenian hatred at the state level in Azerbaijan.

As a result of the analysis of the mentioned information, the Defender presented recommendations to state bodies regarding improving the system of protection of the rights of the said group of persons and introducing unique structures.

The preliminary report was submitted in its entirety to international institutions with a mandate to protect human rights, as well as to competent state bodies.
