Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received the head of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Armenia, Thierry Ribault, and the general secretary of the Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS), Anna Yeghiazaryan.
During the meeting, reference was made to the humanitarian situation formed due to the forced displacement of more than 100,000 Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh.
The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the active involvement of the ICRC and the CRC in addressing the primary needs of our compatriots, expressing confidence in the effective interaction regarding medium-term and long-term support programs.
The interlocutors discussed various issues to address the social and health needs of people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.
