The RA Ministry of Defense reports that on October 2, the Armenian side had 1 dead and 2 wounded due to the Azerbaijani Armed Forces fire in the direction of the food transport vehicle.
The killed serviceman is Aram Tigrani Kocharyan of the Nth military unit of the RA Defense Ministry. The lives of 2 wounded service members are not in danger now; they have been transferred to an army hospital.
"Azerbaijani Armed Forces units also targeted an ambulance, which is a gross violation of the norms of international humanitarian law.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia expresses its condolences and support to the serviceman's family members, relatives and fellow soldiers," the statement said
