According to the report of the Italian branch of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), there are 29 thousand children among the refugees transferred from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia.
"As of September 29, 2023, 98,625 people have been forced to leave areas affected by recent hostilities. About 29,000 of them are children. "UNICEF has created a safe area in the southeastern city of Goris, where about 300 children and their parents are admitted daily," the international organization said.
New supplies will arrive in Armenia today, which UNICEF will distribute to displaced children and families.
