"We consider the arrest of Ruben Vardanyan illegal." Armen Khachatryan
Armen Khachatryan, a member of the National Assembly of the Communist Party of Ukraine, referred to the arrest of former State Minister Ruben Vardanyan by the Azerbaijanis.
"We consider the arrest of Ruben Vardanyan to be illegal, and whatever charges are brought against him, it is illegal. The Republic of Armenia should take all possible measures, including involving international partners, to free Ruben Vardanyan from captivity," he said.
According to Khachatryan, no matter what testimony they try to extract from Vardanyan now, no matter what criminal proceedings they start, it is under the pressure of force and cannot be the basis for carrying out any justice, "Ruben Vardanyan must be brought back very quickly, and serious work must be done in this direction, which will contribute to removing these blocklists from circulation. There may not even be a blocklist, but they will try to retaliate against certain people. Of course, we will do it by involving the international community to bring back our countrymen and citizens, and Azerbaijan should stop any action aimed at retaliating."
