The newly appointed ambassador of Belgium visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial

On September 27, the newly appointed Ambassador of Belgium to Armenia, Eric de Muynck, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial. The guests were welcomed, and Lusine Abrahamyan, the deputy director for museum works of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, presented the history of the creation of the memorial complex.

He also referred to the three khachkars erected in the Tsitsernakaberd area in memory of the Armenians who died in the massacres organized by the Azerbaijani government in the cities of Sumgait, Kirovabad (Gandzak), Baku in the last century, and the stories of the five freedom fighters buried in front of Hushapat during the Artsakh war, emphasizing the connection between what happened and the Armenian Genocide. :

Ambassador Eric de Muynk laid flowers near the eternal flame and observed a minute of silence in memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Ambassador Eric de Muink toured the Armenian Genocide Museum, where he got acquainted with the permanent and temporary exhibitions accompanied by the senior tour guide of HCTI, Hasmik Martirosyan, after which he made a note in the memorial book of honored guests.
