The Japanese government will also support those displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh
Today, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Narek Mkrtchyan, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Armenia, Masanori Fukushima.
During the meeting, several issues related to the support of the forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh and cooperation in overcoming their social problems were discussed.
Narek Mkrtchyan referred to the work carried out by the Ministry and the humanitarian crisis management working group in NK, emphasizing the role of cooperation with international partners in this context. The minister noted that the Ministry with partner organizations, will continue to carry out active work for the joint settlement of the problems of the displaced persons.
Masanori Fukushima expressed grief over the events in Nagorno-Karabakh and noted that the Japanese government is also willing to invest and support the necessary efforts to overcome the social problems of the displaced persons.
