Vardan Sargsyan, representative of the humanitarian crisis management working group in Nagorno-Karabakh, referred to relocating forcibly displaced Armenians to Armenia.
"Citizens are registered, and a primary assessment of their needs takes place, according to which the relevant works are carried out. Here, there is also a point to take care of the citizens' basic needs; psychological support is provided to the citizens. All bodies are working 24 hours a day, the station is working, and the coordination center in Goris is also functioning, where citizens with housing problems are sent. After registering there and assessing their needs, they are provided with a suitable place of residence," he said.
Vardan Sargsyan mentioned that the Goris coordination center is designed for citizens with a residence problem, and up to now, all citizens who have registered and applied for residence have been provided with appropriate living.
"Settlements are planned for the entire territory of the republic. It is not limited only to the Syunik region," he said.
According to Sargsyan, the process should continue as long as there is a flow of citizens and they need to register.
