"As part of the preparation for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the joint Armenian-American exercise "ARTSIV PARTNERS-2023" will be held in Armenia on September 11-20 at the "Zar" training center of the peacekeeping brigade of the Ministry of Defense and the N training center of the Ministry of Defense. The exercise involves stabilization operations between conflicting parties during peacekeeping tasks.
The purpose of the exercise is to increase the level of interoperability of units participating in international peacekeeping missions within the framework of peacekeeping operations, to exchange best practices in management and tactical communication, and to increase the readiness of the Armenian unit for the planned assessment of the NATO/GSC "Operational Capability Concept."
Within the preparation framework for peacekeeping missions, units preparing for international peacekeeping operations regularly participate in similar joint military exercises and exercises in partner countries.
