I was deeply saddened to learn about the death of the three-time champion of the Olympic Games, the famous gymnast Albert Azaryan, Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan wrote on his Facebook page.
"I'm sorry that we didn't manage to finish the project of building a new sports school during his lifetime. I assure you that the project will become a reality, and we will have a sports facility named after the "King of the Rings" by all international standards.
Albert Azaryan's contribution to the development of Armenian sports is invaluable."
