From August 28 to September 4, 2023, the 35th International Informatics Olympiad was held in Szeged, Hungary, where 355 students from 89 countries participated. Each country could represent a maximum of 4 students.
The Olympiad team of Armenia was represented by the students of the particular physics school named after A. Shahinyan (Samvel Abelyan, 12th grade, and Tsovak Yegoryan, 10th grade) and Kvant College (Hamlet Petrosyan, 12th grade, and Gagik Gevorgyan, 10th grade).
From the RA team, bronze medals were awarded to A. Tsovak Yegoryan and Samvel Abelyan, students of the particular physics school named after Shahinyan, and Gagik Gevorgyan, a student of Quantum College.
Armen Andreasyan and Samvel Andreasyan from YSU led the Armenian team.
The Olympiad was held in 2 rounds, each with 3 tasks.
In 2022, The Armenian team won 2 bronze medals at the 34th Informatics Olympiad, which was held in Indonesia.
