The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia issued a statement in which, in particular, it is said:
"On September 2, around 14:00, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan published a video of using UAVs. Immediately after that publication, the Azerbaijani propaganda machine spread false news that the Armenian side allegedly had victims and wounded from the UAV strike.
At 15:48, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia published a message, according to which it denied (and is still denying) the information of the Azerbaijani mass media that the Armenian side has casualties and injuries as a result of an anti-aircraft attack by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. We inform you again that on September 1, the Armenian side had 3 victims and 2 wounded due to the Azerbaijani provocation.
Later, at 11:53 p.m., the Ministry of Defense reported on September 2, around 5:30 p.m., about the death of 2 service members due to an explosion during engineering works in another part of the border zone.
The Ministry of Defense urges the chronology above, the sequence of events, and the content of the messages not to be intentionally distorted and not to mislead the public."
