Minister Zhanna Andreasyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Knowledge and Education Day, which explicitly states:
"Dear students, teachers, and professors,
I congratulate you on beginning the new academic year on the Day of Knowledge and Education.
We are starting the new academic year with fundamental changes, several programs aimed at improving the educational system, introducing a new standard of general education, changing the management and financial systems, and starting higher education reforms. They will not be easy, and it is essential to understand on the way to these changes that all difficulties can be overcome if we work as a big team and put effort into one goal: to have quality education for every student in every settlement of our country.
The reform process is complicated and responsible for all of us. Everyone involved in the learning process, be it an educator, student, parent, or official, has a job to do that needs to be approached with great care and awareness.
The role and support of the professional community, which the state needs, are irreplaceable on the way to the implementation of large-scale works. The role of the teacher is exceedingly central in these large-scale works.
Dear teachers and professors, every reform takes place only thanks to your direct efforts, responsibility, and compassion for the work done. Thank you for your tireless work and unwavering faith in tomorrow. We have gone through the epidemic and the war with you; we have done more than we imagined to ensure the education of our children. These are challenging days, too. There are many complications and uncertainties.
Today, in the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno Karabakh, our compatriots are deprived of the opportunity to fully and dignify the right to education, which should cause severe concerns among international institutions. This September, the first graders' entrance to Nagorno-Karabakh schools is not a celebration but an environment of anxiety, uncertainty, and growing fears. We must support our compatriots in every possible way and return to the natural educational process. Therefore, today, more than ever, education is essential, learning is critical, and development is necessary.
In the new academic year, I wish all of us fruitful activities in peaceful conditions, strength, and perseverance to implement changes.
Good luck":
