On August 29, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received US Chargé d'Affaires in RA William (Chip) Laitinen and the newly appointed defense attaché, Colonel Kevin Steele.
The Minister of Defense congratulated Colonel Steele on starting the mission in Armenia and wished for practical cooperation.
During the meeting, several issues related to the current course of Armenian-American cooperation in defense, development prospects, and regional security were discussed.
