Germany will allocate 12 million euros to develop Armenia's energy sector

We signed an agreement on financial cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2022 with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany Viktor Richter, RA Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan wrote on his Facebook page.
"The document envisages the provision of financial support of up to 12 million euros for the project "Expansion of renewable energy and energy saving; for the implementation of phase III" project. Currently, the development of renewable energy is very important in Armenia, because it provides an opportunity to obtain affordable electricity and have energy independence," wrote Kerobyan.
