The winners of the CaseKey competition became shareholders of Team Telecom Armenia

The CaseKey 2023 finalists presented their proposals for the initial public offering (IPO) case of Team Telecom Armenia. CaseKey organizers will award Team Telecom Armenia shares to the winning LogX team members.

22 teams participated in the competition, of which only 6 reached the finals. Participants had only 72 hours to propose solutions.

The winning team's proposal is related to operating in the cloud gaming market. Thanks to this step, the company's customers can play digital games without overloading their computers and buying game consoles.

Regarding the competition, LogX member Lili Gasparyan emphasized students' connection with real businesses. "Working on a real Armenian case, our team was able to study many studies and find one of the best proposals in the field of modern telecommunications. We are very happy that CaseKey and Team Telecom Armenia allowed us to solve this case and get a comment directly from the management."

Karen Shaboyan, commercial director of Team Telecom Armenia, who was also a jury member, emphasized the importance of the involvement of young professionals to succeed in such large projects.

"This case was unique and, at the same time, complicated in its content, because there are few companies that have gone through IPO in Armenia, and Team Telecom Armenia is the first in the telecom sector. The solutions proposed by the winning team were both realistic and actionable. In the future, we will have more in-depth discussions to implement the proposals of the participants."

Before the main CaseKey competition, student teams participate in training throughout the year and learn to solve problems of existing businesses.

Arshak Karapetyan, the project's founder, noted that the case presented by Team Telecom Armenia has a competitive and educational significance and a correct business culture, which should be contagious for other businesses in Armenia. Every significant initiative should have not only financial but also public importance. He also singled out that members of the winning team received shares, emphasizing the importance of developing an investment mindset among young people.

The members of the jury of the final stage of the competition were the lecturer of the American University of Armenia and the co-founder of the "Institute of Internal Auditors" Ara Chalabyan, the commercial director of Team Telecom Armenia Karen Shaboyan and the deputy financial director Marianna Gylumyan, the director of the stability and regulation department of the financial system of the Central Bank of Armenia Garegin Gevorgyan, as well as General Director of "JI PEPSI-COLA BOTTLER" company Vladimir Danielyan.
