The Chargé d'affaires of the GDR met with Ritter

The Chargé d'affaires of the Federal Republic of Germany, Erik Tintrup, visited the Yeghegnadzor headquarters of the EU Civil Mission (EUMA) again yesterday. The head of the mission, Markus Ritter, presented the situation in the border regions and at the beginning of the Lachine Corridor. In the current case, it is essential to get accurate information from actors operating in Yerevan and hot spots.

In that sense, the trustee's recent meetings with ICRC, UN structures, and civil society representatives were also important.
With the mission "Humanitarian Security," EUMA performs irreplaceable work toward stability, security, and regulation of relations in the South Caucasus. Germany also supports EUMA with a significant share of staff; the head of the mission is also from Germany.
Germany, in harmony with the decision of the International Court of Justice, stands in favor of the free and open movement of people through the Lachin Corridor so that it is possible to realize the livelihood of the people living in Nagorno-Karabakh.
