The humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh due to Azerbaijan's illegal blocking of the Lachin Corridor was discussed.

Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the imperative of immediate lifting of the blockade of the Lachin Corridor by the decisions of the International Court of Justice of February 22 and July 6 and the urgency of supplying NK with food, medicine, and other necessities. The need to ensure the complete and uninterrupted operation of the International Committee of the Red Cross, the only international humanitarian organization with access to Nagorno-Karabakh, was emphasized. The Minister of Foreign Affairs called the case of the kidnapping of Vagif Khachatryan, who was transferred from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia for medical purposes, by the border guard services of Azerbaijan a gross violation of international humanitarian law.

The head of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia reaffirmed the position of the Armenian side regarding the importance of addressing the rights and security issues of the Nagorno-Karabakh people under the international mechanism. The need for international partners to take explicit steps to prevent ethnic cleansing by Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh was emphasized.
