In terms of leaving the aviation "black list" of the European Union, Armenia has entered an active stage; at least half of the problems have been solved. The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Gnel Sanosyan, announced this in the National Assembly, presenting the preliminary draft of the law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2024".
Next year, it is planned to provide 1.6 billion drams to the aviation sector.
"We have entered a rather active phase in this field in terms of the process of exiting the blacklist. We have solved at least half of the problems before us, we are dealing with the solution of the other half", said the minister.
According to him, now the sector has a relatively fast pace of development.
It should be noted that Armenian aviation has been on the "black list" of the European Union since June 2020. All Armenian air carriers were banned from entering EU airspace.
