Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan met Prince of Kent Michael George Charles Franklin at Kensington Palace during his visit to Great Britain. During the meeting, the projects and results of cooperation with public and charitable organizations, associations, and foundations operating in the field of social protection of the two countries were discussed.
Emphasizing the importance of public-private sector interaction, Minister Narek Mkrtchyan presented the services provided by organizations operating in other fields for children, persons with disabilities, and the needs of the person.
Prince Michael George Charles Franklin of Kent spoke about his involvement in the programs of about 100 charities and other organizations, public work, and campaigns to raise awareness of the rights of vulnerable groups, some of which are funded by his family. He also referred to the services provided to children without parental care and children with disabilities, the foster family, and the ways of organizing alternative care.
Based on the reforms carried out in the system of protection of children's rights, both sides emphasized the provision of the child's best interests to create a safer and more prosperous environment for them.
