Yeghishe Kirakosyan, the RA representative for international legal affairs, announced that Armenia would submit additional evidence to the International Court of Justice regarding the installation of checkpoints and concrete barriers by Azerbaijan in the Lachin Corridor and the resulting humanitarian crisis.
"The work with the international courts started from the first day of blocking the Lachin Corridor, in December last year. The first was the decision of the European Court of Human Rights, by which the court obliged Azerbaijan to ensure the passage of sick and homeless persons in both directions of the Lachin Corridor, also based on the logic of the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020," he said.
He recorded that, unfortunately, the decision of this year's international court has not yet been implemented and no changes have taken place after the decision was made.
