On July 5, Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral defense consultations were held in the Republic of Cyprus. On the Armenian side, the delegation headed by Levon Ayvazyan, head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the RA Ministry of Defense, participated in the consultations.
During the consultations, several security and cooperation issues within the three countries' interests were discussed. The parties reaffirmed their readiness to take joint steps to strengthen the three countries' defense capability and military security.
As a result of the discussions, the annual trilateral military cooperation program was signed, including several events in Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus. At the end of the consultations, the commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Cyprus, Lieutenant General Demokritos Zervakis, also received the delegations.
