The RA Foreign Ministry has given details about traveling to Georgia with identification cards
To answer questions about the period of the possibility of traveling to Georgia with RA identification cards, RA MFA spokesperson Ani Badalyan reports the following.
"It will be possible to travel to Georgia with RA identification cards (containing electronic data carriers) after the entry into force of the agreement "between the Republic of Armenia and Georgia on mutual visa-free travel for citizens of the two states" signed on January 12, 2023.
On June 26, 2023, the RA National Assembly adopted the law on ratifying the agreement. As a next step, the parties must agree on an appropriate date for the agreement to enter into force.
Information on the agreement's entry into force will be published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and posted on official platforms.
